Warranty/Return Policy

Limited Warranty
Scorpio-branded security products come with a 1-year (from time of purchase) limited warranty. This includes all components and accessories that are manufactured by Aritronix Ltd. The following sections describe the limited warranties.

What is covered by this limited warranty?
This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in your — our end-user customer's — Scorpio-branded hardware products, including Scorpio-branded accessory products.

What is NOT covered by this limited warranty?
This limited warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, damage/failure due to acts of God or problems that result from the following:

• External causes such as accident, abuse, misuse, or problems with electrical power
• Damage by water, misuse, drop or battery leak to Controllers, Remotes and Remote Displays
• Usage that is not in accordance with product instructions or modifications of the product
• Failure to follow the product instructions
• Problems caused by using accessories, parts, or components not manufactured or approved by Scorpio

What should you do if you experience a problem with a Scorpio product?
First contact Aritronix, Ltd. [Proof of purchase, installer and motorcycle information will be requested]. If after assistance from our trained staff it is determined that the Scorpio product may be faulty then you will provide with detailed information on processing a warranty claim. All warranty claims must contain a return authorization number (RA#). Aritronix, Ltd. will not accept any package that does not have been approved for warranty repair/exchange.

Privacy Policy

When you make a purchase at scorpioalarms.com, we ask for your name, address, phone number, email address and other personal information necessary to fulfill and track your order. For purposes of billing, you will need to provide your credit card type, number, expiration date and billing address. Furthermore, in order to ship our products to you, we will also need the name, address and phone number of the intended recipient(s).

All information collected is only used for internal propose and is not sold or shared with entities out side of Aritronix ltd.

Security Policy
Because the security of your personal information is a high priority, we protect our databases with various physical, technical and procedural measures and we restrict access to your information by unauthorized parties. Our information systems are maintained behind a firewall to isolate them from access by other networks connected to the Internet. All information transmitted through scorpioalarms.com is stored on our secure server; we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which is the electronic commerce standard for securing information as it travels over the Internet. SSL technology is designed to encrypt your information, preventing any unauthorized party from viewing or downloading your information. Your web browser should display a web address with an "https" prefix, indicating that the SSL technology is operating when using certain portions of our website, such as the Checkout.

Return Policy
Only products purchased from scorpioalarms.com or Aritronix Ltd direct are eligible to be returned subject to the terms and conditions. All returns must be made in original condition and include all accessories. You will receive a credit for your purchase only if it meets the criteria below. We do not offer merchandise exchanges. See “Return Procedures” to learn more about how to return a product for a refund.

14-Day Return Period
To be eligible for a refund returned items should be sent back and received by Artitronix no later than 14 days from the date the product was delivered to the customer.

Exceptions
The following items are not returnable:

• Any orders shipped outside the US
• Parts, accessories, remotes and any other items that were not purchased with a complete security system.

Restocking Fee
A 20% restocking fee will be charged on open parts that were used and installed. These fees apply unless the item is defective or damaged, you received the wrong item, or the fees is prohibited by law.

Missing Item or Damaged Product Fee
A missing item or damaged product fee will be charged for any product missing the original box, packaging material, contents, accessories and/or manuals (i.e. any product not in "like new" condition).

Return Procedures
Any product purchased from Aritronix Ltd and scorpioalarms.com is covered under a 14 day money back guarantee. If a product is to be returned please pay close attention to the following information:

• Contact Aritronix to obtain a Return Material Authorization number (RMA). No return will be accepted without an RMA number.
• A refund will be issued with in 72 hours or receiving the returned product.
• Shipping charges will not be refunded.
• The refund will only be issued to the original method of payment and it is up to the discretion of the bank to determine the length of time before funds are available to the customer.
