BUB Enterprises was started in 1978 by Dennis Manning, a world renowned land speed racer. In the early days Dennis worked for Dutch Mueller also known as 'The Flyin Dutchman' where he picked up his nickname BUB (Big Ugly Bastard). At the age of 24 Dennis built his first world record breaking Harley Davidson Streamliner that hit 265mph ridden by the late Cal Rayborn. Dennis now has over 40 years of motorcycle industry experience and has designed, built, and owned an amazing 5 of the 10 fastest motorcycles in history. In 2004, along with the help of his daughter-in-law Delvene, he started the International Motorcycle Speed Trials by BUB.

 

BUB Enterprises competes in several exhaust markets including the cruiser market, atv market, and the sport bike market. BUB Exhaust Systems are manufactured and warehoused in two separate locations in the United States. One location is a 15,000 square foot building in Grass Valley, CA that they have now been operating in for years. The second facility was purchased in 2005 in Janesville, WI to aid in the company's expansion. This silencer is very unique because of its velocity chamber which accelerates exhaust flow for maximum performance. It also features a two stage sound suppression system that utilizes some of the best technology that we have to date. The BUB Exhaust Systems MIKADO slip on silencer is available on the Yamaha R6, the Suzuki GSXR 600, Suzuki GSXR 1000 and the Kawasaki ZX10R as a side mount exhaust silencer. BUB didn't forget about all of you ATV riders either. They have developed the BUB C4 exhaust that offers true ride-ability on the racetrack, in the woods, on the dunes, or in the desert. The C4 comes with a USFS approved removable spark arrestor and two stage sound suppression technology. The BUB C4 will work with the Honda TRX 400EX and TRX 450R. It will also work on the Suzuki LTZ 400, Kawasaki KFX 400, Yamaha YFZ 450 and Raptor 660.
